“Anderson Ranch and Plinth Gallery - A Ceramic Collaboration": This show featured Colorado ceramic artists and their works were displayed in Denver at the Plinth Gallery. The show was curated and juried by Jonathan Kaplan and Doug Casebeer as a collaboration with Anderson Ranch Art Center. In this show they had works from Paul Soldner, the founder of Anderson Ranch. Artists from Colorado were asked to submit one 12 X 12 piece. This was hard for me because my work has grown and almost everything is longer than those dimensions. However, I did find a piece to submit, and I was honored to have it selected. The Journey was the last piece I made while I was in Shigaraki, Japan. I had it shipped back while it was still bisque. This piece symbolizes my journey across the Pacific Ocean. It also symbolizes the feeling of being a monkey on display back to being just one of many. My piece "The Journey" was selected to show in this.
